Hello, and welcome! If you’ve landed here, I bet you’re a woman in your 30s & 40s - maybe even early 50s - and you’re on a mission to get the bottom of something you’ve been struggling with for a while now (fatigue, anxiety, weight fluctuations, achy joints, hair loss, the effects of high stress, etc).

And - you being you - you’ve probably been trying it all (physical therapy, massage, acupuncture, supplements, counseling & mental health support, lots of Googling, and maybe even nutritional coaching). You’re trying so hard to figure out what’s going on with your body….

So before I go on, definitely give yourself a pat on the back for your amazing commitment thus far! Your devotion is noted.

And I get it - overcoming the overwhelm of getting rid of your symptoms WHILE trying to be fully present in your personal & professional life can feel like a lot. I also know women are commonly only being prescribed medication (birth control, anti-depressants, or anti-anxiety) from their primary care provider, which can feel frustrating because you KNOW there are other answers out there (is this you, too?).

So if you’re wondering “what else am I missing?! what else can I do?!”, these are great questions. You’re on track, sister, but let me clue you into something that commonly gets missed.

how to build boundaries without guilt

You see, women are commonly told that being healthy is how they eat, sleep, & exercise... but what if those were all secondary?

Clinically, I’ve seen that there are two things that need to come before this…

What comes before dialing in your eating, sleeping, & exercising are:

  1. helping you get reacquainted with your innate sense of knowing what your body needs in the first place (aka, your intuitive sense to decide what's best for you!)

  2. helping your nervous system & stress response feel calmer & ‘quieted’ so that you can listen to/feel those intuitive nudges.

As women, we’ve learned to take care of all the tasks - all the expectations - and all of the people who need to be pleased. And the very last thing we think about - or even consider tending to - is how we're feeling inside.

This means to we're consistently acting from a place of reactivity and then we're left wondering why our body isn't cooperating with us

<why our hair falls out, our skin looks tired, why we gain unexplained weight, or why we can’t overcome the chronic aches & pains that we’re trying so hard to fix>

Your intuition can feel difficult to access if you’re living in a reactionary state where you’re always feeling stressed & anxious (which is super prevalent these days!), which is why we want to support your nervous system with special grounding strategies (including boundaries) so that you can feel calmer, listen to what your body is telling you, and take action from a grounded, confident place.

When you ignore and/or aren’t tuned into this deeper sense of knowing, you may find yourself:

  • Saying yes to social engagements out of obligation when you really feel like just staying home and getting rest.

  • Pursuing intense exercise that doesn’t feel good to your body (and further depletes you) despite what you really wanted was something less intense that particular day.

  • Ordering the arugula salad on date night when you’re really salivating over something of more sustenance (like the steak & potatoes!).

But when you listen to your intuitive sense and you tune into what your body is trying to tell you, what plays out is this:

  • You confidently say ‘no thank you’ without needing to justify your decision and instead you get into your comfy clothes to hang at home (and maybe even go to bed early).

  • You’ll enjoy a walk and some fresh air - knowing you’ll have more energy tomorrow to do more - then sink into the couch for some snuggles with your kiddos and/or fur babies.

  • You’ll enjoy the steak & potatoes because you know your food decisions are an ecosystem rather than one isolated event that’s going to make you go backwards.

When you know exactly how to listen to your body's cues and respond consistently - rather than constantly feeling like you’re fighting urges or restricting pleasures in your life - your brain & nervous system begin to quiet so that you can actually hear & feel what it is your body needs rather than getting over-consumed with too many options.

This is what makes eating whole foods, getting good sleep, & moving your body so much more natural, enjoyable & effortless when you're a busy woman who enjoys feeling her best. Not only that, this helps you shift away from anxiety & overwhelm and into a calmer, grounded more clear state of decision-making every day. And this, friends, is the essence of my Confident & Connected Mastermind Program.

(this is not frivolous medicine, it’s essential medicine for women)

I know that you may be thinking:

Will this work for me?” -

I feel like I’ve been trying so hard, how is this going to be any different?

What makes this approach different is that it addresses more than just what you eat & how you exercise. Those are two important pillars of your health, however, women require more time spent in calmer states of recovery as well as time spent feeling more connected in their lives (connected with nature, spirituality, their female friends & kids/partners, and even their sexuality). And these deeper layers of health foundation are unfortunately not addressed within mainstream medicine, which makes this container truly unique.

I want to help you GO FROM feeling confused & frustrated about not getting to the root of your concerns TO INSTEAD having confident direction so that you feel grounded & able to respond in times of heightened stress with greater ease & clarity.

The ongoing support from Kelsea is priceless! The support isn't just a directive on what to do but it's a thoughtful process that gave me the ‘how to’ and helped me think through barriers that stood in my way of feeling more confident in my health & healing. In working with Kelsea, I came to appreciate who I am and how to work with the body I was born into and how to find strategies that already fit into my current lifestyle.”

“I'm starting to think that when I say, ‘I feel like the old me,’ I'm really saying, ‘I feel energetic, enthusiastic, and joyful.’

I'm happy that I can find a way to be those things in this body” as a stay-at-home mom with 3 kids & 2 dogs.

“Before working with Kelsea, I was so stressed out! And I was ‘managing stress’ in ways that were actually making my stress worse… I was going for runs on top of being overly busy and trying to eat perfectly (which stressed me out even more). Once I enrolled to work with Kelsea, I realized what I was missing…. and that was being guided in the process of slowing down, saying ‘no’ more often, and developing better boundaries with my work. Now I finally feel like I have bandwidth for my spouse & kiddo, I sleep so much better, prepping & eating food is so much more enjoyable, and honestly I feel alive again!”
