Integrative health support for women looking to understand, nourish, & calm their bodies without the guesswork

Hello and welcome! I’m so glad you’re here perusing my neck of the woods.

If you’ve landed here, it means that you’re probably a woman on a mission. Searching the internet high and low for reasons why your body doesn’t feel like it used to.

You’ve become a seasoned expert in your profession or perhaps you’ve raised amazing kids (or both) - either way, you’ve been attentive to the needs of others all of your life.

But your needs may have fallen a little lower on the priority list along the way…(hey it happens)

And now that you’re in your late 30s or 40s, your body has become a distraction… it won’t let you do the things you want to do despite you trying your best to care for your health, leaving you confused why what you’re doing (eating well, exercising, trying supplements) isn’t working.

Women everywhere experience certain changes that feel…well…off

I’m curious if you can relate to any of these?

  • Perhaps you’re wondering why those extra 5-10# pounds aren’t going away with increased gym time & getting all your steps in (and deep down you know it’s not about the number on the scale; it’s how you feel and how your clothes fit that matters to you)

  • Maybe you’re curious why you’re experiencing brain fog & exhaustion despite you doing your best to limit caffeine, reduce alcohol, and get rest…limiting your capacity to think clearly and engage with others at the high level you’re used to

  • Or you’ve been struggling with sluggish digestion - ie, constipation & belly bloat that just never seems to resolve despite trying various dietary changes - leaving you annoyed that you can’t seem to find the right answers

  • Or (last one, I promise) why your skin looks tired or isn’t as clear as it used to be even with using clean products (and lord almighty the chin hairs that come out of nowhere?!)

Unfortunately, the list of symptoms experienced by women in their late 30s and 40s could go on

You likely can commiserate with the collective frustration among women who attend doctor’s visits prepared to ask the right questions all to be left with nothing more than a prescription (or the all-too-broad suggestion to “eat more fruits/veggies, get more exercise, control your stress”)

Your frustration is valid, and I’m so glad you’ve maintained your curiosity long enough to finally be landing you here

Here’s why my corner offers you something different from what you’ve already been exposed to…

‘Doing more’ is different than ‘Being effective’

Me being an outside-of-the-box thinker, I started calling the idea of ‘doing more’ into question

And you might be, too, if you:

  • Are a busy woman who prides herself on getting stuff done, and you’re managing to squeeze exercise in where you can, but it’s a) not really all that rejuvenating for you because you’re under the time clock and b) it doesn’t seem to be giving you the results you want

  • Have tried to manage your stress via meditation, yoga, journaling, finding a solid group of gal pals, maybe essential oils? but it seems like no matter how hard you try to control those anxious feelings, you’re still lying awake at night ruminating (or you feel a sense of pressure to keep up during the day)

  • Wonder if you need more supplements or if you should be cutting something more out of your diet (go gluten free? Whole 30? go keto?), but expensive supplements and having a bare bones diet isn’t exactly enticing

  • Always want to know WHY…so you’re doing personal research, taking masterclasses, and binging on podcasts - (your curiosity is to be celebrated, by the way!) - yet it’s almost causing more confusion because there’s either too much or not enough info, leaving you feeling you confused

Now if any of that’s true for you, you’re clearly a hard worker and you care - which is why you’re adored by many - and I’m so glad you’re here because there is likely a huge gap in what you’re being told to do vs what your body & spirit actually need at this stage in your life

Being told to get more steps in, increase gym time, increase protein & fibers, do yoga, & practice meditation are all reasonable suggestions… BUT…

But ‘doing more’ for your health on top of showing up for your kid’s double header, answering 50+ work emails, or seeing those 9+ patients/day…and then juggling a social life…can feel exhausting, yah?

You’re seeing diminishing returns in the effort you are putting INTO you health (and life) vs what you’re actually getting BACK, making you feel more and more that there are parts of you that you intuitively know aren’t being tended to, leaving you feeling like “there’s got to be a better way.”

Here's why exhaustion, weight gain, & brain fog are not your fault:

As a woman, you’ve been trained to adopt a hyper-masculinized approach to living, working, & caring for yourself - this is the constant pushing, counting, calculating, striving, & always trying to ‘find motivation’....

And by the time you hit your late 30s or 40s, the constant life hustle leaves you exhausted, which puts more pressure on you, your body, your nervous system, & your hormones.

This is the opposite of what we want for you during your perimenopausal years (ie, 35-50ish).

From a biological perspective, you hit plateaus, experience slow healing, feel exhausted, or have a hard time losing weight because your body's robust well of sex hormones that usually keep you full on energy and fat-burning fuels are actually decreasing simultaneously as life demands increase (think: work duties, kids duties, businesses to grow, parents to care for, etc).

And despite what you've heard or read online, the constant ‘be productive and always gain’ mentality (ie, the hyper-masculine approach) will not be what helps support your feminine hormonal, fatigue, and weight issues in your 40s nor will it help your weekly routine feel fulfilling (because you’ll be left feeling like you can’t keep up or like doing a little is never enough).

Instead, there’s a way to balance it all using a more feminine approach - one that helps you know how to listen to your body's cues & respond to them rather than constantly fighting urges or overworking all just to hit that dreaded plateau.

Not only that, I bet you're probably doing some soul searching. You’re probably craving more fulfillment…wondering ‘where’s my place in this world? What’s my deeper calling & purpose? And how can I wake up loving what I do?

A more feminine approach to a woman’s health and overall well-being supports that deeper level of soul searching that occurs for so many women in their 40s.

In other words: how fulfilled you feel in your body, your work, & in your relationships directly correlate with your body’s ability to thrive during this amazing hormonal transition

This is why I created The Revitalize Collective

The mission within the Revitalize Collective is two-fold:

  1. This is for you if you want to approach your 40s through a more purposeful and grounded lens that helps you feel more stable in your stress levels, mood, energy, weight, & daily routine instead of feeling pressured by the ‘push hard and hustle’ mentality that leaves you exhausted and isolated.

  2. This is also for you if you’re at a crossroads in your life, where you’re feeling the itch to shift gears personally or professionally because you’re ready to make prioritizing your health feel easier - and you’re ready to to wake up feeling more fulfilled each day - but you’re conflicted on where you want to go or how your new path looks…

Because I suspect you’re ready to:

  • Become a confident advocate for yourself - saying no and/or asking for help without guilt - so you no longer feel resentful that you’re having to ‘do it all’ in your parenting, your work, and/or in your social roles

  • Clear up the confusion around optimal perimenopause nutrition so that you no longer feel like you have to count calories and restrict (or overthink) what you eat and instead you can feel confident eating based on your body's specific needs without relying upon protein powders and bare bones diets

  • Have the physical strength & energy (and the time) to go for runs, long hikes, or getting back into power yoga without pain or feeling depleted afterwards

  • Feel clear in your decisions - everything from what you eat, to when you choose to be present in your work, to staying committed to your ‘out of office’ - with a deep sense of trust that you’re doing what’s best for you without worrying about being wrong

  • Know exactly how to lose those mysterious extra 5-10 pounds (or get rid of belly bloat) without feeling like you have to increase your workouts or deprive yourself of the foods you love the most

If you don’t yet know me…

My name is Kelsea Cannon, and I am coming to you from North Bend, Washington.

It all started with an intense curiosity that grew into an epic adventure...

The longer I practiced as a pelvic floor physical therapy specialist, the more I was bothered by the fact that women were feeling exhausted, stressed, unseen, & undervalued in their professional lives, but also many times in their personal lives.

Women would bravely come into the PT clinic seeking support for chronic joint pain, belly bloat/chronic constipation, feeling disconnected from their bodies, and pelvic floor dysfunction.

Often women would always leave feeling more empowered and at ease... but inevitably would enter back into their busy, stressful lives and come back the following week voicing their concerns about their very real challenges and barriers to healing.

I felt compelled to follow this burning desire and intense curiosity inside of me that wondered "how do we actually address these challenges that permeate women's lives and leave them feeling depleted, undervalued, and unfulfilled?"

This was simultaneously when I, too, was experiencing chronic fatigue & worsening anxiety, completely affecting my work life & personal relationships. Through the brain fog, I would push through long work days (I had a lot of guilt calling in sick) and then come home exhausted (I think my husband would tell you I wasn't much for company during that time).

My clients were tired. I was tired. Things had to change.

It became clear to me that the ‘the harder you work, the more you gain’ mentality is not supportive of women - especially women 35+ who are moving through the perimenopausal years - who want to better understand their bodies as well as feel more clear their life direction (because so many women in their late 30s & 40s crave a change of pace, to say the least, but don't know how to get there or what that might entail).

What started as an intense curiosity, has grown into both an epic exploration and a more full understanding of the innate intelligence of our bodies as women. It became increasingly important for me to build a space for all of you women interested in developing a deeper appreciation for your own unique voice (so that you can self-advocate from a grounded place) as well as to help you restore your relationship with your body, the boundaries you hold, the food you choose to consume, the exercise you wish to pursue, and even your relationship with rest, pleasure, & play so that you can truly enjoy the freedoms of the body and the life you're in without feeling weighed down by confusion, stress, or exhaustion.

So on that note, I'm so glad you're here!

From disappointment to hope.

It’s easy to feel that if you’re not seeing physical changes in your body as quickly as you want, then you must be doing something wrong.

And that disappointment of ‘not progressing’ sometimes makes it feel like you’re at fault (I know this feeling).

But you’re not at fault.

Here’s why: historically, the healthcare industry has not done a good job at listening to you and guiding you, as a woman, in your health challenges (I’ve had this same experience).

It’s not that medical providers don’t want to help you - it’s that they don’t always know how.

The good news: things are changing - there have been and will continue to be improvements within women’s health (take the Revitalize Collective, for example!).

It’s important that you have the support you need when navigating the uncharted - and often murky - waters of the perimenopausal years.

Navigating perimenopausal body changes, relationship changes, changes in routine, or even changes in your work can definitely feel challenging at first, but then things get easier…

And soon you feel renewed hope.

I’m going hold you and support you through this ebb and flow so that you can feel lighter and more clear in the long run.

We focus less on pushing to “get the outcomes” and instead emphasize baby steps…small wins…life’s unexpected curveballs… and we embrace when we don’t always have the answer (*gasp*) but we trust that it will come in perfect time (you will see & feel the gains you want)

And this is how we use a more balanced, feminine approach to women’s health.

Even doctors struggle…

I always like to share the story of my client, Cassie. Cassie thought that being a medical doctor meant that she should know how to care for herself because she knew so much about the body. Only, the pace & demands of being a doctor were stopping her in her tracks… until we connected.

Cassie WENT FROM

  • Living in a constantly stressed state as a doctor - and despite squeezing in work outs in an effort to destress - she still felt exhausted and isolated (she said “I feel like I have every stress induced ailment in the book”)

  • Feeling conflicted on how to prioritize herself because her clinic schedule always seemed to come first, even when she tried to build personal time into her schedule or set boundaries (ultimately, nothing she tried was ‘sticking’)

To INSTEAD…

  • Implementing a refreshing and integrative approach to her nourishment even with a busy schedule - which included therapeutic levels of rest that had her saying “I feel like a new woman” - leaving her more satisfied, energized, & grounded even when life remained full and unpredictable

  • Deepening her abilities to set boundaries without guilt so that she could prioritize her health needs without the second-guessing nor being persuaded by others’ opinions

Dr Cassie’s words of wisdom: “Your health is a commitment on multiple levels. And when was the last time you made a deep and loving commitment to yourself? If you have an unexplainable feeling that you are not living the life you were meant to live, give yourself this gift. This gift of being able to speak your needs and desires with Kelsea and being supported so you can finally feel more free, grounded, & fulfilled. You’ll be surprised when you finally say your desires out loud to someone…it’s like a renewed sense of purpose that you’ve never felt before.”

The Revitalize Collective is designed by women, for women

In supporting hundreds of women over the years, I wanted to create a space where women could feel support and make gains without the judgment or pressure to be someone they aren’t.

This container is specially designed to help you GO FROM FEELING:

  • Overwhelmed by everything you have to do to maintain your health on top of already feeling busy with work/family life

  • Like you have to override your personal boundaries to please others, causing resentment that leaves you feeling isolated and unseen

  • Frustrated that you’re working so hard in physical therapy, counseling, & with your food/exercise choices but not seeing the results you want, leaving you to wonder “what else is it that I need to be doing?!”

TO INSTEAD FEELING:

  • Greater levels of self-trust so that you can drop the guilt and no longer second guess what you choose to prioritize each week (exercise? rest? work? play? family? you’ll learn how to efficiently braid it all into your life without pressure to ‘do it all’)

  • Confident setting healthy boundaries without guilt in your work and personal life, helping your weeks feel more spacious, reducing the heaviness of anxiety weighing you down

  • Fully in tune with your own body and the cues it’s sending you, helping you discern when your body can handle increased work loads and when you need to take your foot off the gas pedal (this will revolutionize how you approach your sleep, exercise, work, and social routines, ultimately helping you feel restored energy levels without the over-efforting)

Here’s how we do it within The Revitalize Collective?

FIRST. Shift from chaos to under control. Hormone regulation & gut health require a healthy stress response. We’ll tend to your nervous system and recalibrate your stress response so that you’re no longer reacting to your days from a place of stress (and l feeling like you can’t keep up)  but instead you’re responding to your days from a place of grounded energy and vitality. You’ll have more bandwidth for challenging times (and people) & you’ll feel a natural sense of calm, helping to feel trust & control over your body and your life.

SECOND. Eat well, obsess less, enjoy more. Learn practical yet potent women-specific upgrades for your nutrition that remove the guesswork around how best to nourish yourself in a way that helps you lose weight, eliminate belly bloat, & stabilize your energy without having to obsess over what you “should” be eating. Go from feeling like you need to count calories or ‘burn off what you ate’ to instead feeling completely satisfied enjoying real food (having dinner with family & friends will be much more enjoyable).

THIRD. Restore your energy with less effort. You’ll get the simple science behind your unique feminine cycles (yes, this includes your hormones!) so that you know exactly how to read your body’s cues without pressure to push through fatigue. Your daily energy will increase, your blood sugars will stabilize (no more 2pm dips nor 3am wake ups), & fat loss will begin to happen even when you’re at rest (think of it as a metabolic reset). You’ll also strengthen your connection with your feminine intuition and understand the role it plays in your health, so that you feel confident setting boundaries without guilt and make quicker decisions without brain fog.

The BONUS byproduct - You’ll naturally begin to drop the fear of disappointing others. When you need some time to yourself, there’s likely an underlying hesitation “What will others think? Will I let someone down?” I’ll teach you the unsaid energetic parts of women’s health (this includes a particular certain boundary that all empathetic women could use) so that you can tend to your personal needs without feeling like your relationships or job will be on the line because of it. These simple shifts will revolutionize how you approach your personal nutrition, sleep habits, exercise, & work life, helping you feel fulfilled without sacrificing your relationship with others.

If you’re feeling a tad off…

When my client, Zoya, first reached out, she thought she was having symptoms from what she described as ‘bad habits’ established during the pandemic. She felt mostly pretty good, but couldn’t put her finger on why she still felt off. Without our work together, she came to realize she was experiencing perimenopausal symptoms without knowing it.

With some gentle refining, she went from:

  • waking up at 3-4am consistently, leaving her tired once her alarm went off

  • not loving the way her clothes fit due to an extra 6-7 pounds that started during covid

  • feeling sluggish in digestive system and she didn’t have the energy for her beloved hobbies (like yoga, quilting, & salmon fishing)

To instead:

  • sleeping more deeply through the night and not waking up until her alarm, helping her feel more energized all day

  • looking in the mirror and thinking “I finally love who I see” (and noticing that her clothes fit like she wanted)

  • having energy to return to her favorite hobbies: reading, quilting, taking her boat out, light yoga at home, & bonding with her two teens

She writes “Even after working together, I am doing SO well! In the past 6 months, I’m enjoying eating more veggies, my alcohol consumption has gone down by 1/2, I’ve returned to weight lifting at the gym, and am sleeping amazing (the sleepless night is the rare occasion vs the norm). Also, my GI system feels healthier than it’s ever been. I’m so grateful for you showing me this path to health!”

The Revitalize Collective is the perfect place to help you become:

  • More grounded in how you navigate stressful situations & busy schedules so you no longer have to go for runs when you’re already exhausted or have multiple health appointments scheduled every week that seem to take so much effort, week in and week out

  • Embody what it means to become a powerful leader for your own body, personal wellness journey, and hormonal well-being so you can navigate any uncertainties that show up without going to worst-case scenario thinking that leaves you chronically exhausted

  • A true expert in your own hormonal cycles, intuitive needs, and deeper desires so that you always have an inner compass directing you in your personal ‘right direction’ even when others share differing views or opinions (you’ll remain committed to your needs & values from a confident, yet loving, place)

And just so you know, this approach to women’s health is designed to help you remain consistent but not rigid.

In other words, you won’t find boxes to constantly check, must dos, rigid rules, & constant tracking (steps, calories, macronutrients, etc) in this container. Nor will I suggest you invest in hundreds of dollars in supplements.

My mission is to help empower you with the best tools possible  - tools born out of women-specific health research - that allow you to build your foundation so that you can continue seeing progress in your health and life for years to come.

This is a trauma-informed space where we hold sacred space for the body you were born into and the past-lived experiences that we get to help you grow from.

Client Murmurings

  • “The ongoing support from Kelsea is priceless! The support isn't just a directive on what to do but it's a thoughtful process that gave me the ‘how to’ and helped me think through barriers that stood in my way of feeling more confident in my health & healing. In working with Kelsea, I came to appreciate who I am and how to work with the body I was born into and how to find strategies that already fit into my current lifestyle.”

    -Christa K

  • "With the changes in my body in my late 40's, grief from a death in the family, & post pandemic loss of business, I was feeling the need for support, as I couldn't replenish my energy reserves. In working with Kelsea and the small group cohort, I realized how important it is being around a supportive group of gals. Time with friends seems to be the first thing to drop when my life gets busy. Kelsea helped me realized that I know the things I need to keep in my life and she gave additional helpful tips & tools and was always easy to talk with”

    -Anonymous happy client

  • “Working with Kelsea was engaging, informative, fun, & introspective. Meeting with the other women in the small group cohort 1x/week was cool to look forward to, as it was lovely to connect, share, & watch each other grow. The 1:1 calls with Kelsea were helpful because they allowed me to more deeply explore nagging issues. I loved the plethora of info I can now reference & apply to my life in small doses. Definitely recommend!”

Is this for you?

This style of support is perfect for you if:

    • You have a foundation for eating well & exercising consistently, but you’re still feeling energetically depleted and you’re craving more specific and holistic support

    • You’ve already experienced relief with other forms of health support (physical therapy, mental health support, acupuncture, massage, etc) but you still feel like something’s missing because bothersome symptoms seem to be lingering and/or you simply aren’t feeling fulfilled in your life as it is

    • You’re an action-taker, you follow through, & you do well with guidance & coaching

    • You want structure and framework but with freedom… meaning you’re not against Apps, supplements, meds, or even tracking, but you don’t want to be loaded up with so many ‘to dos’ that it hinders your freedom, creativity, & intuition

    • You’re yearning for a more women’s-centered and creative approach that doesn’t require you to fit any type of mold

This support will not be the fit you’re looking for if:

  • You prefer to rely upon done-for-you-health plans and quick fixes

  • You need to see results before you trust the process (*hint: that might be what’s holding you back from seeing the results you want)

  • You have a poor track record of following through with people or helpful suggestions (no shame there! but just know this work requires follow through and commitment on your part for it to show you the results you want)

  • Your results solely need to be based on the numbers (tracking, calculating, etc). There’s no shame in that either… But know that this container won’t be the space that relies upon you achieving 15k steps per day, certain grams of fat/protein, constant reps in the gym, etc. You’ll eat well, move well, & rest well, but I won’t be writing up strict routines & protocols.

  • If you want more supplements (many providers & coaches offer that, but I’m currently not one of them - I’ll help you refine your supplementation but that won’t be our main focus)

Questions?

I’ve got answers.

I’m in my 30s or 50s - is this still a place for me?

  • YES! Absolutely. You can be any age and join this space. You are welcome here.

How long are private or group calls?

  • Live calls range between 45-75 minutes, depending on the week, the topic, & the number of questions.

  • All group calls are recorded.

When do the cohorts run?

  • I lead two live cohorts twice per year, one in the spring and one in the fall. If you follow me on social media (IG handle @kelseacannondpt), you’ll be kept in the loop regarding all start dates for small group cohorts.

What if I can’t make all of the group calls live but still want in on this?

  • All group calls are recorded, so you can catch the recording if you can’t come live

What happens if I need more support?

  • You’ll be a great candidate for private mentorship - hop on a private consultation to discuss that further.

How do I know if this is the right time for me?

  • Only you can answer this!

  • But if you’re on the fence, consider this: if you knew you could feel at least 50% better (more energy, less stress, deeper sleep, stable weight, calmer, & have a more clear path forward in your life) in even 3-6 months, what it is that’s actually stopping you from moving forward?

  • Our goal - whether it’s during private or group work - isn’t to ‘fix everything’ in 3-6 months (also, you don’t need fixed because you’re not broken). Our goal is really to help you feel more confident in your path moving forward. And helping to gently reroute you in a way that feels right for you, using tools that you’ll continue to enjoy over the long term.

Are there refunds?

  • Nope. Sorry, sister. You won’t need one either. You’ll gain so much from our time together.
