“Even after one month of Kelsea’s mentorship, I started feeling like the old me. And by that I mean, I felt energetic, enthusiastic, and joyful. I'm happy that I could find a way to feel that way again as a stay-at-home mom with 3 kids & 2 dogs."

If your body is leaving you guessing…

I’m so glad you’re here perusing my neck of the woods.

I’m so glad you’ve found my neck of the woods.

Because whether you are a teen with menstrual cramps or a woman in your 40s with perimenopausal symptoms, you’re probably feeling confused, frustrated, & maybe even embarrassed by your body.

You’ve more than likely reached out to a medical provider (or several!) and have essentially been given a prescription (birth control, antidepressants, or anti-anxiety meds) and told “that’s about all we can do.”

Perhaps you’ve scanned the internet high and low for solutions, but suddenly you’re overwhelmed by the sheer volume of diet, supplement, and exercise recommendations (and all of the latest trendy health & beauty accouterments).

If your body has become increasingly a distraction, you’re NOT wrong to feel confused and frustrated. Nor are you alone.

The truth is, collectively as women, we’ve reached a point where both conventional and functional medicine have fallen short on serving women to the fullest capacity.

Not to worry. There’s a paradigm shift occurring - for women of all ages - a paradigm that has existed forever but simply got lost in a patriarchal world.

Read on…

Women everywhere are tired of feeling pressure and overwhelm

I’m curious if you can relate to any of these?

Women everywhere are tired of feeling pressure and overwhelm

It seems like everywhere you look, you’re getting conflicting recommendations about how to care for your female body - everything from what to eat to how you’re ‘supposed’ to exercise to what supplements/HRT/GLP1/birth control you’re ‘supposed’ to be on.

You try to accept your body and not feel judgment, but inevitably you’re pummeled with modern day beauty standards and health influencers who sneak in subconsciously (or very consciously) and you can’t help but look in the mirror and feel the need to ‘fix or improve’ your physical form.

Or you’ve been struggling with symptoms (fatigue, bladder/bowel issues, persistent pain, menstrual irregularities, etc) that you know are telling you something’s out of balance - but you’re given the same answer every time (‘sorry that’s just how it is, here’s a pill/supplement').

You’ve been feeling this way for a while and the pressure, overwhelm, and frustration are mounting. Conventional medicine doesn’t seem to help, functional medicine leaves you broke (and still feeling crappy), and you feel frozen in place in terms of what to do/where to go.

              x

There’s a desperate calling to bring more balance and Intuitive healing into the lives and bodies of women and femmes. This includes bringing to light the fact that, as women, our voices and our Intuition and the magic we bring to our homes & communities have long been stifled, quieted, hushed, and told to be seen but not heard.

If you’re nodding your head or feeling this truth in your body - perhaps an inner knowing somewhere in the gut or heart space - then here’s what I want you to know.

Healing and well-being are available to you beyond the ‘trying hard to figure out answers’ or the dynamic of constantly shopping around to find providers who can give answers.

The truth is, patriarchal systems born out of oppression (for women and especially BIPOC populations) were never made to honor the bodies, cycles, rhythms, and creative powers of women. In fact, it was quite the opposite. Sadly, the systems we operate in today - including conventional & many functional medical systems - still have a foundation that’s more designed to support male bodies than it is female bodies (examples: the gaslighting, the constant suppression of the body with pills, the lack of specificity in medicine for womens hormonal needs, etc).

Not only that, modern day stressors (think: having our dad’s jobs with our mother’s responsibilities) have stretched the capacity of our physical bodies as women, hence the vast array of physical symptoms felt by women across the globe that never seem to go away despite women throwing tons of money, time, energy into healing & wellness.

The pressure to look good, feel good, perform at high levels, and be all things to all people has left women exhausted and feeling as if they are moving through a constant identity crisis.

If I had to guess, working harder & doing more within a system that was never meant to support you, as a woman, in the first place doesn’t exactly feel aligned for you.

Let’s talk about how (together) we can shift away from this harmful paradigm into a lighter more balanced way of being that’s far more sustainable for us all…

‘Doing more’

is different than

‘being effective’

After struggling with exhaustion, headaches, & resentment, I started calling the idea of ‘doing more’ into question

And you might be, too, if you are:

finding that you’re managing to squeeze exercise in where you can in your busy days, but the exercise (which is supposed to be enjoyable) is not really all that rejuvenating and it doesn’t seem to be giving you the results you want

trying ‘all the things’ to manage your stress via meditation, yoga, journaling, breathing, maybe essential oils… but it seems like no matter how hard you try to control those anxious feelings, you’re still lying awake at night ruminating (or you feel a sense of pressure to keep up during the day)

wondering if you need more supplements or if you should be cutting something more out of your diet (go gluten free? Whole 30? go keto?), but expensive supplements and having a bare bones diet isn’t exactly enticing

always wanting to know what else you should be doing…so you’re doing personal research, reading books, and binging podcasts - (your curiosity is to be celebrated by the way) - yet it’s almost causing more confusion because there’s either too much or you’re not sure how to implement what you’re learning about

Now if any of that noted above rings true for you, I’m glad you’re here because there is a gap in what you’re being told to do vs what your body, mind, & spirit actually need as a modern day female…

Here’s what you need to know:

Symptoms that you are feeling in your body are

not your fault:

As mentioned earlier, as a woman, you’ve been operating in a system that’s really difficult on women’s bodies. Collectively we’ve adopted hyper-masculinized approaches to living, working, & caring for ourselves.

(ie, this is the constant pushing, counting, achieving, calculating, striving, & always trying to ‘find motivation’, and gain more knowledge)

This can only be kept up for so long.

And by the time you hit your mid-30s, the constant hustle puts more and more pressure on you, your body, your nervous system, & your hormones.

This is the opposite of how our bodies thrive as women (of any age, teenagers included).

From a biological perspective, we are cyclical beings. Our hormones ebb and flow through the month, the seasons, and the decades. We are designed for periods of rest and periods of higher mental/physical output.

From an energetic perspective, we are innate feelers. At a deep level, we sense the subtleties of the world around us. We are Intuitive, creative, and natural nurturers.

We are also designed to function in groups and collectives. Not an individualistic society.

We are ALL innate healers and wisdom keepers, but you’ve been unknowingly conditioned to question your every move, thought, and word you speak (hence a very loud inner critic voice and never fully feeling confident that you, in fact, DO hold so much wisdom and intelligence).

And these powerful facets to what make us so unique as women have long been placed into a little black box and labeled as ‘wrong’ or ‘weak’ or ‘not to be opened.’

I’m here to help you open that little black box that holds all of those important pieces to you so that we can balance your life and health using a more sacred and earth-centered approach.

One that helps you know how to listen to your body's cues & respond to them rather than constantly fighting urges or overworking all just to hit that dreaded plateau.

And one that helps you feel connected to your body and have complete confidence, understanding, & trust in your body and in yourself.

And, finally, one that helps you feel heard, held, and validated and part of a larger collective where we can heal together as a community, alongside our Earth Mother (she’s really struggling right now too!).

I’ve walked this journey myself. I know how heavy this world can feel. I’m here to help you feel your body again with less shame and frustration and guide you in Intuitive personal practices that support your body from a deeper place (the place that current medical models tend to want to shut down).

Which is why I created a space for women that weaves medicine with mysticism.

Because I suspect you’re ready to:

Become a confident advocate for yourself - saying no and/or asking for help without guilt - so you no longer feel like you have to hide the Truth of who you are and what you want (think: you’ll go through an energetic tuning in this space)

Clear up the confusion around what it means to fuel your body well through a more women-specific lens so that you no longer feel like you have to count calories and restrict (or overthink) what you eat and instead you can feel confident eating based on your body's specific needs without relying upon protein powders and restricrive diets

Enjoy a healthy relationship with movement and exercise so that you can move your body in ways that don’t cause additional pain nor depletion but it still feels highly nourishing and enlivening (all seasons of the year)

Feel a greater sense of self trust, inner reliance, and groundedness despite any continued chaos that ensues externally in the world (ie, you no longer feel like a ship at sea battered around by rough seas… instead you’re anchored & centered)

Go to sleep at night (and wake up each morning) with a deep inner knowing that you’re never alone and that you are fully resourced… in your body, your life, and your Spirit

If you don’t already know me…

My name is Kelsea Cannon

And I am coming to you from North Bend, Washington.

I acknowledge that I live on the Indigenous Land of the Coast Salish peoples who have reserved treaty right to this land, specifically the Snoqualmie Indian Tribe (sdukʷalbixʷ). I thank these caretakers of this land who have lived and continue to live here since time immemorial.

For me, what started with an intense curiosity grew into an epic adventure...

The longer I practiced as a pelvic floor physical therapy specialist, the more I was bothered by the fact that brilliant women I worked with in the clinic never felt at home in their bodies & lives.

They’d voice their concerns about their very real barriers to healing (processing past trauma, raising kids, tending to aging parents, busy jobs, commutes, feeling over-committed/overwhelmed).

I felt compelled to follow this intense curiosity inside of me that wondered "how do we actually address these challenges that permeate women’s lives and leave them feeling depleted and unfulfilled?"

This was simultaneously when I, too, was experiencing chronic fatigue & worsening anxiety, affecting my work life & personal relationships. Through the brain fog, I would push through long work days (I had a lot of guilt calling in sick) and then come home exhausted (I think my husband would tell you I wasn’t much for company back then).

My clients were tired. I was tired. Things had to change.

It became clear to me that the ‘the harder you work, the more you gain’ mentality is not supportive of women who want to better understand their bodies as well as feel a deeper sense of purpose in life.

What started as an intense curiosity, has grown into both an epic exploration and a more full understanding of the innate intelligence of our bodies as women as well as systemic paradigm that needs to be dismantled and rebuilt (no small feat, but we can do this little by little).

It became increasingly important for me to build a space for women interested in developing a deeper appreciation for their own voice (for self & community advocacy) as well as to help women restore their relationship with their body, the boundaries they hold, the food they choose to consume, the exercise they wish to pursue, and even their relationship with rest, pleasure, their communities & Mother Earth so that they can truly enjoy the freedoms of the body and the life they’re in without feeling chronically weighed down by confusion, stress, or exhaustion.

So on that note, it’s time we blend energy healing with grounded medicine ways.

I'd love to know my options

“Working with Kelsea was engaging, informative, fun, & introspective. I worked with her in a group format and being with the other women in the small group 1x/week was fun to look forward to, as it was inspiring to connect, share, & watch each other grow. The 1:1 private calls with Kelsea were helpful because they allowed me to more deeply explore nagging issues. I loved the plethora of info I can now reference & apply to my life in small doses. Definitely recommend!”

From Disappointment

To Renewed Hope

Modern medicine can no longer operate in a vacuum that only serves the physical body.

Modern medicine only tends to serve the physical body - leaving out the very important subtle energy bodies that actually govern our physical tissues.

It’s important that, as a modern day woman with modern day stressors, your body is fully resourced with tools that bridge both conventional healing practices (healthy movement practices, eating nourishing foods, medications, supplements, lab testing, etc) as well as holistic energy healing practices (breath work, nervous system regulation, earth-centered healing, understanding your own Intuition, trusting and activating on your Intuitive nudges, getting to know your subconscious drivers, & developing your own tool kit of spiritual practices).

I’m here to be a bridge to help you explore the subtle and unseen energies that link modern medicine and holistic practices to support your true feminine nature.

This work does not replace the need to consider proper medical care - like HRT or GLP1s if you’re a woman in midlife struggling with your hormones/metabolism - but instead this work together enhances any medical support you choose to receive by thoughtful primary care and primary hormone care providers.

Feel renewed hope.

We’ll support you in building your own healing practices that feel aligned and balanced for you.

This can include anything from pilates-based movement practices, that help your spine feel strong and anchored.

To energy healing meditation and spiritual hypnosis, to help you feel fully aligned with your very own Soul and Spirit Team.

And anything in between (think: simple nervous system regulation practices and/or bladder support work).

I’ll help you get connected with solid medical providers who can also supported you medically as needed.

Together, we’ll navigate uncertainties.

And this is how we use a more balanced earth-centered approach to women’s health.

Let's peek at options for support

Here’s a wee bit more framework:

Shift from chaos to under control.

Female hormone regulation during all seasons of life requires a healthy stress response. We’ll tend to your nervous system and recalibrate your stress response so that you’re no longer reacting to your days from a place of stress (and feel like you can’t keep up) but instead you’re responding to your days from a place of grounded energy and vitality. You’ll have more bandwidth for navigating challenges & you’ll feel a natural sense of calm, boosting your sense of trust & control over your body. I call this Nervous System Prosperity. You feel less shame and more sacred.

Eat well, obsess less, enjoy more.

Learn practical yet powerful women-specific upgrades for your nutrition that remove the guesswork around how best to nourish yourself in a way that helps you feel regulated and comfortable in your skin without having to obsess over what you “should” be eating. Go from feeling like you need to count calories or ‘burn off what you ate’ to instead feeling completely satisfied enjoying real food (having dinner with family & friends will be much more enjoyable). No more 11am jitters, 2pm energy dips, or 3am wake-ups. You’ll feel nourished.

Restore your energy with less effort.

You’ll get the simple science behind your unique feminine cycles (yes, this includes your hormones… but also your blood sugar rhythms and even the seasonal rhythms that often get silenced) so that you know exactly how to read your body’s cues without pressure to push through fatigue. Your daily energy will increase, your blood sugars will stabilize (helping to regulate cravings), & your body will begin to feel ‘more efficient’ even when you’re at rest. These practices will help strengthen your connection with your feminine Intuition and understand the role it plays in your health, so that you feel confident setting boundaries without guilt and make quicker decisions without brain fog, fatigue, or any other physical symptom slowing you down.

The Bonus Byproduct

You’ll naturally drop the pressures you feel from the world to be perfect.

This is a biggie. Now more than ever, people pleasing, peace keeping, & perfectionism are major drivers to chronic symptoms, hormone dysregulation, & menstrual issues because they keep you from feeling safe in your body. They drive your female nervous system into overdrive so that you can ‘keep performing’ (cue: the shame cycle). I want to share with you some practical strategies and simple energetic shifts (including but not limited to relaxing hypnosis, restorative nervous system regulation, & comfortable somatic pelvic bowl exercises) that will help you go from feeling the weight of the world on your shoulders (or in your pelvis!) to instead feeling lighter, more grounded, and better regulated without being consumed over what other people think.

Even educated doctors struggle in trying to figure out their own bodies

I always like to share the story of my client, Cassie. Cassie thought that being a medical doctor meant that she should know how to care for herself because she knew so much about the body. Only, the pace & demands of being a doctor were stopping her in her tracks… until we connected.

Dr Cassie’s words of wisdom:

“Your health is a commitment on multiple levels. And when was the last time you made a deep and loving commitment to yourself? If you have an unexplainable feeling that you are not living the life you were meant to live, give yourself this gift. This gift of being able to speak your needs and desires with Kelsea and being supported so you can finally feel more free, grounded, & fulfilled. You’ll be surprised when you finally say your desires out loud to someone…it’s like a renewed sense of purpose that you’ve never felt before.”

With our work together, Cassie went:

from:

Living in a constantly stressed state as a doctor - and despite squeezing in work outs in an effort to destress - she still felt exhausted and isolated (she said “I feel like I have every stress induced ailment in the book”)

X

Feeling conflicted on how to prioritize herself because her clinic schedule always seemed to come first, even when she tried to build personal time into her schedule or set boundaries (ultimately, nothing she tried was ‘sticking’)

X

to instead:

Implementing a refreshing and integrative approach to her nourishment routine even with a busy schedule - which included therapeutic levels of rest that had her saying “I feel like a new woman” - leaving her more satisfied, energized, & grounded even when life remained full and unpredictable

Deepening her abilities to set boundaries without guilt so that she could prioritize her health needs without the second-guessing nor being persuaded by others’ opinions.

You might be feeling mostly pretty good,

but if you still feel a tad off…

When my client, Zoya, first reached out, she thought she was having symptoms from what she described as ‘bad habits’ established during the pandemic. She felt mostly pretty good, but couldn’t put her finger on why she still felt off. Without our work together, she came to realize she was experiencing perimenopausal symptoms without knowing it.

With some gentle refining, she went from:

waking up at 3-4am consistently, leaving her tired once her alarm went off

not loving the way her clothes fit due to an extra 6-7 pounds that started during covid

feeling sluggish in her digestive system and she didn’t have the energy for her beloved hobbies (like yoga, quilting, & salmon fishing)

To instead:

sleeping more deeply through the night and not waking up until her alarm, helping her feel more energized all day

looking in the mirror and thinking “I finally love who I see” (and noticing that her clothes fit like she wanted)

Having energy & bandwidth to return to her favorite hobbies: reading, quilting, taking her boat out, light yoga at home, & bonding with her two teens

Zoya Writes:

“Even after working together, I am doing SO well! In the past 6 months, I’m enjoying eating more veggies, my alcohol consumption has gone down by 1/2, I’ve returned to weight lifting at the gym (and I actually enjoy it more), and am sleeping amazing (the sleepless night is the rare occasion vs the norm). Also, my digestive system feels healthier than it’s ever been. I’m so grateful for Kelsea showing me this path to health!”

Let's look at options for you

The real reason this work is so necessary:

Let’s be honest - your partner/spouse, your kids, your boss, your work colleagues, your friends are all used to you being a ‘certain way’ - they’re used to you being the person who always says yes, or who can always be counted on, who always responds with a ‘can do’ attitude, who always takes up the slack, and is there for others.

And these people in your life love you for all of those reasons - but if you’re anything like the inner people pleaser & peace keeper inside of me - it can feel really easy being secretly angry, frustrated, and resentful when you feel the need to always be on your game.

And so unlearning the society conditioning of people pleasing, perfectionism, and peace keeping is a major process for many of us. And it’s scary. It can feel unsettling. And you might even piss someone off (not out of ill intent but simple because you held your ground and stood in your power).

This is why we - as women - need many of the practices within this work because your nervous system & subconscious mind will not feel safe at first as you pave new pathways for your life and body.

But rest assured, we can lovingly guide your body back to feeling as sense of inner safety as you learn to tend to your own inner needs without (here’s the best part) needing to compromise the relationships that mean so much to do.

With this work, you’ll enjoy a balancing effect in life: balance in how your body feels, in your self talk, in the way you take care of yourself, in how your work & personal life fit together, & balance in feeling valued in your relationships.

“The ongoing support from Kelsea is priceless! The support isn't just a directive on what to do but it's a thoughtful process that gave me the ‘how to’ and helped me think through barriers that stood in my way of feeling more confident in my health & healing. In working with Kelsea, I came to appreciate who I am and how to work with the body I was born into and how to find strategies that already fit into my current lifestyle.”

"With the changes in my body in my late 40's, grief from a death in the family, & post pandemic loss of business, I was feeling the need for support, as I couldn't replenish my energy reserves. In working with Kelsea and the small group cohort, I realized how important it is being around a supportive group of gals. Time with friends seems to be the first thing to drop when my life gets busy. Kelsea helped me realized that I know the things I need to keep in my life and she gave additional helpful tips & tools and was always easy to talk with”
